The Lightbox Feature : As you view the database of images, any photos that are of interest can be tagged, by clicking on the "Add to Lightbox" icon which appears under the photo. NOTE : THE LIGHTBOX ICON ONLY APPEARS UNDER THE IMAGES ONCE YOU HAVE SUBSCRIBED. The icon then changes to "Remove from Lightbox", to allow you to take that photo out of the lightbox if you change your mind. The lightbox has nothing to do with sales, and putting images in a lightbox will never suggest that you purchase anything; instead it is a "holding box" for images so that the images you have tagged as ones you would like to see again become a set of your own, held in a group called your Lightbox. Once you have placed images in the lightbox, the icon under that image turns red, to indicate that it is already in your lightbox. After making selections, the lightbox can be called by clicking on "My Lightbox" on the left side of the screen, and the collection of images you have selected will appear on the screen together as one set, along with a field to e-mail the lightbox. If you wish, you can then type in the e-amil adderss (one or many) and the lightbox will be sent via e-mail. This is useful for business decisions, where a web designer or graphic artist can assist in decisions, or suggested images can be sent to management or colleagues in another part of the world to jointly decide on the design of brochures , etc. Also, as FotoLibrary images are used for many purposes, there are many other uses for the Lightbox eg. wallprint gifts etc. 
If your internet session is interrupted during the selection of images , that's no problem, because your lightbox is saved automatically, and when you log back on , just continue to add or subtract images to your lightbox - it just continues where you left off, with all the previous images intact.

The e-mail an image feature : This is a very fast,simple and very efficient way to show a friend or colleague one image. Think of it as the lightbox's little brother. When viewing an image, you can simply click on the "email image" icon, and a small dialog box will open beside the image, with a place to type the e-mail address to send it to. Simply complete this address click send, and the recipient will receive an e-mail with a small thumbnail of the image, and a note saying you thought they might like to have a look at the photo. If the recipient clicks on the thumbnail (small photo) , then that photo's page of FotoLibrary will open in their web browser - it will go straight to that image in FotoLibrary! All by just clicking one button, and typing their e-mail address! It takes just seconds - it's a very simple, quick and effective way to share the images on FotoLibrary..... but to take advantage of this feature you must join FotoLibrary first - remember - it's free!
